It is a separate course

NC and NPA award are based around NOS national occupational standards and lead directly  into bigger College and workbased programmes

Skills for Work courses developed specifically for schools who may prefer less of a vocational focus.  There  are a range of skills for work courses they give learners experience of work based area but are principally designed to promote enterprise and employability skills and the four capacities in a particular work based context.

You should pick the course that suits the needs of your learners and centre.

Hope this is useful

Subject: [ncdmc] Creative Digital Media course?!

Hello,

I've just got a letter from the SQA inviting me to a launch event for an "Intermediate 1, Skills for Work, Creative Digital Media course" that will be available from 2009/10.

Does anyone know if this part of the NC in DMC or is this a separate course?

Thanks,

Kate
