I have been in touch with some of you already, and meeting with you soon. :) I am really keen to set up an official core skills consortium, perhaps similar in style to the NCDMC set up... I have been in touch with the SQA, ( fantastic support!) and await contact from the chair of the Essential skills forumf rom Scotlands Colleges. I have some materials already contextualised and willing to share, in particular for ICT. Perhaps it may be an idea to generate as much interest as possible from both colleges and maybe even schools, meet at a central location, and get something formally established that we may all collaborate with each other. I am quite willing to coordinate this, as it falls under my current remit ... Let me know your thoughts, Fiona
